This week we celebrate Admiral Horatio Nelson's birthday, born on 29th September 1758 in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk. Arguably Norfolk's most famous son, Nelson was celebrated as a national hero following his death in the decisive British victory at the Battle of Trafalgar during the Napoleonic Wars.
